En route to Huskisson

Farewell to our little cabin & onward to Huskisson, 200km up the coast, via more amazing scenery.

Through Moruya & taking the coast road to Broulee, Mossy Point, Guerilla Bay, Mosquito Bay & Lilli Pilli. The views were as good as the names! At Mossy Point we saw the usual suspects as the fishermen cleaned & gutted their catch. Cormorants, pelicans, little terns, gulls & 4 rays, one huge one with its tail missing.

Past Bateman's Bay & on to Tabourie Lake where we saw Hooded  Plovers, an endangered sea bird that breeds here. They are small & hard to spot amongst the dunes.

Now in the Shoalhaven region, through Ulladulla & Mollymook & then on to our destination, Huskisson situated on Jervis Bay, the deepest natural harbour in Australia. It opens eastward to the Pacific Ocean & boasts many beautiful beaches. Hyams Beach is reknown as having the whitest sand in the world!
